Definitely, the meido. It’s all about the meido. I’m definitely rooting for Ms. Wang, Felt, and/or Sumeragi to become Celestial Being’s new medio.

Alright, Sunrise officially took a dive off the deep end. Not that it wasn’t enjoyable. My favorite part was Setsuna, I-am-gundam, marrying Tieria, the haro-headed-robot. What do you know Sunrise staff has a great sense of humor.
I only watched the first season of this as a fix to keep my Geass addiction in check between seasons. The only real reason I would watch this season is to understand all the gay jokes Jason makes. So If you don’t blog I don’t have to watch.
Sorry I’m not say your jokes are gay, I mean all the jokes about the homosexual overtones in Gundam 00.
Just watched it again and now I’m thinking…
“Wait so Sunrise DIDN’T kill off the only heterosexual couple left in the show!?”

Did the Keroro Gunso group write this?
It was like the director of the trailer went like “It’s a stupid idea to make a second season. I can’t be arsed to do a proper job, so I’ll just throw together something ridiculous.” And then the producers were like “ZOMG TEH FUNNY IS PRESENT” and gave it the green light. I mean, come on, it makes an absolute mockery of the series and the studio.
I have a nagging feeling that the trailer will have more awesomeness in it than the 1st and 2nd seasons combined.

Heh, so this is the year of the chibi.
Too bad haruhi doesn’t come out this year, I’d love to see a chibi-sos-dan series.

In all fairness though, Shana-tan only had Shana and Hecate in chibi mode; everyone else were in normal proportions (this doesn’t extend to their personalities of course — Psycho Cranky Yoshida being the PRIMARY example of this).
That was fabulous. I love how Lockon is yelling that he’s only going to get flashback scenes. maybe that means he’ll stay dead.
I also like how they managed to officially make aTieria/Setsuna pairing for the yaoi fangirls.
I’m looking forward to it at least. though the ratings/DVD sales might be accurate XD.

I bet Feldt actually went crazy after Lockon died, snuck into his room, and took one of the hairs off his bed. Then during the years between season one and two she cloned Lockon due to her obsession… Good ol’ Sunrise/broken logic.

I read that too. Stupid spoilerific site. At least this means I might get more LockonxTieria … Set-chanxTieria is a little over disturbing, honestly

There never was a dependable person in Celestial Being … was there? =/
Given what we know though, I’d think that the new ‘Lockon’ that was shown in the Newtype spoilers and in the DVD omake isn’t the one we saw in the first season, but his twin brother. HOWEVER, that still doesn’t explain why their speciality is similar (long-ranged sniping), and why Lyle can pilot a mobile suit, when everything so far has pointed to him being a mere civilian for most of his life.
Like I already said before, Sunrise get better off with no mecha included..

It’s not about the logic - it’s about the drama. And the screaming - they power-up when they scream.
This trailer still feels like it was written by the Keroro Gunso guys - it was funny, weirdly twisted, and involved a lot of nonsensical items.
Haesslich: For a working woman that plays BOTH Warhammer 40k and Guild Wars PLUS watches anime in her spare time, well, yes, I’d expect *some* logic in Gundam 00. Not like there’s really much to go on.
I don’t think this one was from the Keroro Gunso team though… It’s too nonsensical even for THEM (and I watch Keroro Gunso regularly).
Meido = Ma.i.d? So basically bad Engrish? I’m half disappointed.
Should we tell the Japanese that they are doing it wrong, but we don’t care because it sounds cool? (Of course my mind was somehow saying it even more wrong for an unknown reason. I’m not sure how I got Mend-lo out of Meido).
Myssa Rei: This isn’t Warhammer, and this isn’t Guild Wars. This isn’t even World of Warcraft - it’s like Second Life, where the only logic is situational depending on where you are, who set things up, and whether the area’s been hacked to death or not. You REALLY are begging for trouble, expecting LOGIC from Gundam 00 after the first season’s shenanigans.
It has the Keroro Gunso brand humor, which is why I wondered if they’d written it… since it’s like an acid trip, but without the SHAFT-style crazy.
