The first Gurren Lagann Music Clip Project flash video is out… and it’s fucking fantastic. It’s beyond words. Best part: Kamina winning over Yoko. Can’t wait for the next 7. (Thanks to Gorbash Kazdar, who got the first e-mail in.) (Put the video on RS for people having problems with GAINAX.)

Ah freaking heck. It’s like Gainax read my mind. Ever since seeing Viral in his dream world, I’ve been eternally curious about Gurren-Lagann in a medieval setting. They better make an OVA of this and the rest of these spin-offs. Or else my curiosity will never come to an end.

Contrary to popular opinion, the video failed with me, but I realize It might be do to breakage, so I’ll list my reasons, and then you can pass judgment.

1) When I first saw Simon’s outfit, the only thing I could think of was the Pirate Captain from Innocent Venus.

2) The rap left me incapable of thinking of anything but Fox Kid’s murder of One-Piece. (search youtube for those who need the reference)

3) When the “party” assembled to fight the boss, I couldn’t tell if I was watching a video about Lodoss Wars or Abenobashi.
